Insurance
For your convenience, we bill insurances for you. Dental insurances are very different from medical insurances. Unlike medical insurances, where most treatment is covered, most dental benefit plans contribute only a small amount. We tell our patients that dental benefits should be thought of as a discount for dental treatment. Even though the cost of dental care has significantly increased over the years, the maximum levels of insurance reimbursements have remained the same since the late 1960's.
Your Dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. We verify your coverages with the information you give to us. An estimate of what your plan might cover will be provided to you. We submit your claims as a courtesy to you. You are responsible for your estimated portion at the time of service. After we receive payment from your insurance company, any balance remaining will be your responsibility.
